About Nashua
Nashua Homes Deserve Better Service
Nashua is New Hampshire's second-largest city and one of the fastest-growing communities in New England. The city blends older downtown neighborhoods, colonial-era homes near Mine Falls Park and working-class housing along Main Street, with newer subdivisions pushing south toward the Massachusetts border. Whether you own a 1920s two-family in the Millyard district or a 1990s colonial in a south Nashua neighborhood, VixFix brings the same commitment to quality craftsmanship. Justin serves homeowners throughout Nashua's varied neighborhoods, responding fast to everything from water damage emergencies to planned flooring upgrades and full interior repaints. No runaround, no surprises, just honest work at a fair price.
What We Do
Services Across Both Sides of Nashua
Downtown Nashua and south Nashua were built eighty years apart, so the same job is two different jobs. Here is what each end of the city tends to need.
Interior Painting
A downtown two-family with original trim and a south Nashua colonial with builder-grade finishes need different prep. Both get filled, primed, and cut in properly before a topcoat goes on.
Drywall Repair
Nail pops and taped-seam cracks are the standing complaint in Nashua's 1980s and 1990s subdivisions. Patched, floated, and sanded so the repair disappears under paint instead of telegraphing through it.
Flooring Installation
Carpet from the original build is usually first to go. Hardwood, LVP, laminate, and tile installed over a prepped subfloor, with transitions and trim finished properly.
Water Damage Repair
Ice dam stains on second-floor ceilings, failed supply lines, and damp basements on the low ground near the rivers. Source stopped, assembly dried, room rebuilt and repainted.
Carpentry
Interior and exterior trim, doors, stair parts, and rot repair, including matching the older profiles that turn up in the downtown neighborhoods.
Punch List and TV Mounting
The list that never gets done: sticking doors, loose railings, a TV to mount and cables to hide, detectors past their date. One visit rather than five.
Also available in Nashua: exterior work and fire alarm and smoke detector installation. Nearby: Merrimack to the north and Lowell, MA about fifteen minutes south.

Rivers and Water
Water Damage in a City Built on Two Rivers
Nashua sits where the Nashua River meets the Merrimack, and the low ground around Mine Falls Park and the old canal system keeps water tables high in parts of the city. In a finished basement that shows up as soft drywall along the bottom of a wall, cupped flooring, and a room that never quite smells dry. Higher up, the same winter that fills those rivers builds ice dams at the eaves, which pushes meltwater back under the shingles and into second-floor ceilings. The repair is the same in both cases and the order matters: find and stop the source first, dry the assembly properly, then cut out what is gone, rebuild it, and repaint so the finished room does not look repaired. Painting over a stain without drying what is behind it buys a few months at most.
