1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you share with us through vixfixpro.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Oryx Technologies LLC ("Oryx Tech", "we", "us", "our") on behalf of VixFix Contracting and Home Improvement ("VixFix"). VixFix is the contractor you hire for home improvement services. Oryx Tech is the company that builds and runs the website, processes form submissions, and stores your inquiry on behalf of VixFix.

This policy applies only to information collected through this Site. It does not cover information collected by VixFix during in-person estimates, signed work contracts, or in-person service visits, which are governed by VixFix directly.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of standard technical data that any website receives.

Information you submit through forms

When you submit the Free Estimate form, the Contact form, or any other lead form on the Site, we collect:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • The service you are interested in
  • A free-text description of your project, which may include the address of the project, photos, or other details you choose to share

Automatically collected technical data

  • Server access logs: Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard request data (IP address, browser user-agent, referring page, timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention.
  • Privacy-friendly analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or cross-site identifiers. Plausible aggregates page views, referrers, and approximate country only.

What we do NOT collect

  • We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site advertising tracker.
  • We do not use first-party or third-party advertising cookies.
  • We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your estimate request or message and schedule a free estimate visit.
  • To follow up about your project, including by phone, text, or email, using the contact information you provided.
  • To keep records of customer inquiries for VixFix's internal job tracking and accounting.
  • To improve the Site, our services, and our response time.
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse (for example, the hidden honeypot field on our forms).
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as tax records and contract recordkeeping.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

The Site relies on a small number of carefully chosen third parties. Each one only sees the data it needs to do its job.

  • Cloudflare Pages hosts the Site and serves all pages and assets. Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser metadata when you load a page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Plausible Analytics provides cookieless, privacy-friendly page-view statistics. No personal data, cross-site tracking, or device fingerprinting. See Plausible's privacy policy and data policy.
  • Oryx Tech SaaS (Website Upgrader Pro) is our own customer relationship platform at websiteupgraderpro.com. When you submit a form, your submission is sent to this platform, where it is stored so VixFix can read and respond to it. No third party sees the contents of your form submission.
  • Google Fonts serves the Montserrat and Open Sans typefaces. Your browser requests font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com; Google may log your IP address as part of normal CDN operation. See Google's privacy policy.
  • jsDelivr serves one open-source JavaScript carousel library (Swiper). jsDelivr is a public open-source CDN; your browser requests the asset by URL only. See jsDelivr's privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

This Site does not set any first-party cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookieless by design. The only client-side storage we use is short-lived browser memory needed to make the mobile menu and the estimate modal work, which is cleared as soon as you close the page.

We do not use behavioral advertising, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over the personal information we hold about you.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Request a copy of that information in a portable format.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

New Hampshire residents (SB 255, NH RSA 507-H)

If you are a New Hampshire resident, you also have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data, and access that data.
  • Correct inaccuracies.
  • Delete personal data we hold about you.
  • Obtain a portable copy of your data.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not engage in any of these.

How to exercise your rights

Email oryxtechnologiesllc@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you want us to do. We will verify your identity by replying to the email address on file for your inquiry, and we will respond within 45 days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

7. Data Retention

We keep contact-form and estimate-request data for as long as it takes to complete your project, plus the period required for tax and contract recordkeeping (generally seven years from the date of the last service). If you never become a customer, we delete inactive inquiries within 24 months of submission. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be kept indefinitely.

8. Children's Privacy

This Site is intended for adult homeowners and business decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed at children under 13 (COPPA, 15 U.S.C. 6501). If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, please email oryxtechnologiesllc@gmail.com and we will delete it.

9. Security

All traffic to the Site is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher). Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection to our SaaS, where they are stored in a database with access restricted to authorized personnel. We use strict Content Security Policy and HTTP Strict Transport Security headers to reduce the risk of common web attacks. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we apply industry-standard safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the data.

10. Breach Notification

Under New Hampshire RSA 359-C:20, if we discover unauthorized access to your personal information that creates a risk of identity theft or fraud, we will notify you without unreasonable delay, by email and any other method required by law. We will also notify the New Hampshire Attorney General as required by statute.

11. Contractor Licensing and Insurance Disclosures

This Site advertises home improvement services performed by VixFix. The following disclosures relate to the services advertised, not to the website itself:

  • State licensing: New Hampshire issues home improvement licenses at the municipal level. Where the city or town in which work is performed requires a local license, VixFix or its subcontractors hold the appropriate local registration. A list of current municipal registrations and license numbers is available upon request.
  • Insurance: VixFix represents that it carries general liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any work begins. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
  • EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm: For any renovation, repair, or painting work in a home built before 1978, the EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule (40 CFR Part 745) requires the firm to be EPA Lead-Safe Certified and to give homeowners the EPA "Renovate Right" pamphlet before starting work. VixFix is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm. Certification details are available upon request.
  • Workers' compensation and bonding: VixFix represents that it maintains workers' compensation coverage and surety bonding for contracted projects. Carrier and bond details are available upon request.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy on this page. For significant changes that affect how we use information you have already given us, we will also notify you by email where reasonably practical.
