New Hampshire Homes Need Floors That Last
VixFix Pro is fully licensed and insured in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Owner Justin Vickery personally oversees every project. EPA Lead-Safe certified for renovation work in pre-1978 homes. Free written estimates, no obligation.
Flooring in New Hampshire has to survive dramatic seasonal humidity swings, the kind that make solid hardwood shrink in winter and swell in summer if it's not acclimated and installed correctly. LVP and laminate are excellent choices for NH homes precisely because they handle this movement better, but they still need a level, clean subfloor and proper gap spacing to perform as intended. A floor installed without that prep will buckle or separate within a year or two.
Justin at VixFix installs hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, and engineered hardwood throughout New Hampshire. The subfloor gets checked and leveled before anything goes down. Transitions are cut clean, thresholds fit tight, and the finish looks like it belongs in the house, not like a home improvement project.

What's Included
Flooring Services We Provide
Hardwood Floor Installation
Solid and engineered hardwood installed with proper acclimation, nail-down or glue-down method, and the expansion gaps NH's climate demands. Clean cuts at transitions and walls.
LVP & Laminate Installation
Luxury vinyl plank and laminate flooring installed floating or glued, depending on the subfloor and manufacturer spec. Excellent for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements where solid hardwood can't go.
Subfloor Prep & Leveling
Low spots filled, high spots sanded or shimmed, squeaks addressed. A level subfloor isn't optional, it's the difference between a floor that stays tight and one that pops and bounces within a year.
Staircase Refinishing
Stair treads refinished or replaced to match new flooring. Squeaky, worn risers addressed, balusters tightened. A staircase that looks cohesive with the rest of the floor, not like an afterthought.
Floor Removal & Disposal
Old carpet, vinyl, or laminate removed and disposed of before new flooring goes down. One contractor, one visit, one job, not two separate trips and two separate contracts.
Floor Repair & Patch
Replacing damaged planks, fixing squeaky boards, patching water-damaged sections, or matching an existing floor pattern when adding on to a room. Matched as closely as possible to the surrounding floor.
